On September 16th 2017, at Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, Microsoft Viet Nam in collaboration with the Center for Education and Development (CED) organized the seminar “Career Development in Information Technology and Computer Science.”
The seminar was attended by, Mrs To Kim Lien (CEO of Center for Education and Development); Mrs Dang Thi Thanh Van (CEO of Savvycom); Mrs Le Thi Hong Nhi (Microsoft Community Relations Manager); Mrs Nguyen Thi Hau; Mr Pham Hoang Luong ( Associate Professor – Dr.Phil of Hanoi University of Science and Technology); Mr Hoang Long (Deputy CEO of PG Bank); Mr Nguyen Duy Lan (Co-Founder Veramine; Mr Tran Anh Tuan (Vice president network security PWC); and Mr Phi Dang Khoa (Microsoft Viet Nam expert). These individuals conversed with female students in the Microsoft YouthSpark scholarship program.
The content of the seminar focused on: answering questions about professional knowledge for female students, offering guidance for future work, issues of degrees, studying abroad, and requirements of employers. This seminar was aimed at facilitating and encouraging women to access new opportunities in the field of Information Technology and to share knowledge and experiences with women in regarding the fourth industrial revolution, which is gaining momentum around the world.
