The survey found that proportion of women working in the field of information technology account for only 30% and in particular they lack leadership roles. We are in the 4.0 revolution – the era of breakthroughs in the field of Science and Technology, women will be at risk of being negatively and disproportionately affected by their lack of representation. For these reasons, Microsoft has launched a number of campaigns to promote public awareness of gender equality in the profession and to engage in business activities that many people think are only for men, such as information technology, to help them to give more to promoting innovation and advancing globally.
