National University Of Civil Engineering Student’s Speech During Merali Scholarship Award Ceremony Year 2015 – 2016

On December 9, 2015

First, I would like to send my greetings and best wishes to everyone coming here today.
It is my honor to represent 40 female students from National University of Civil Engineering and stand here sharing my thoughts and feelings.

Ladies and gentlemen, all representatives, teachers and fellow students,

I am so fortunate to be one of 40 female students to receive Merali Scholarship. Merali Scholarship is not only a financial assistance but also a big encouragement pushing me to try harder and chase dreams. The scholarship will help me and other students overcome hardship. I believe Merali Scholarship will connect us to new friends, other people living in this S-shaped country, who studying engineering. The scholarship is a support to give us experiences, training, chances to meet people from older generations to learn valuable lessons. I hope the program will arrange more activities, exchanges and volunteer events to give us chances to gather and keep in touch with this Merali family.

My fellow students,

We are very lucky to go to university and receive support from Merali Scholarship. Success is a journey, not a destination. Learning at National University of Civil Engineering is our dream, our aspiration. The scholarship program will push us to move forward. Let’s study hard and become successful female engineers in the future, go back and contribute to the program, give others the support like we are getting now. Finally, before I end my speech, I would like to express my appreciation and send my best wishes. Wish my fellow students successful, and the program continue to expand.

Thank you very much.
